LAURA CUTTS was born in Glendale, California on August 20, 1952. She graduated from the Los Angeles Pierce College School of Nursing (1979) and received further education at the California State University Dominquez Hills. She has worked as a Registered Nurse in California, Colorado and South Carolina in the area of neonatal ICU, pediatric ICU, pediatrics and post partum. Her 26 years of experience included both staff and Head Nurse duties in the specialty of Neonatal nursing. During this time she also served on the local board for the United Nurses Association of California.
BEVERLY ROGERS HOFFMAN was born in Asheville, North Carolina on June 4, 1947. She graduated from Charlotte Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and Central Piedmont College in 1967. Beverly is a Registered Nurse and licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in South Carolina. She is the former Vice President of Operations for a national management company of skilled nursing facilities responsible for providing the guidance in organizing, developing, and implementing organizational processes and programs in the assigned group of 33 facilities in 13 states. Her background includes 35 years of experience in nursing and nursing home administration. She has held positions as Vice President of Clinical Services, Nurse Consultant, Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing as well as Nursing Home Administrator. Recently she has been the owner/operator of LTC Consulting Services in Charleston, SC which included services for all areas of skilled nursing and legal case review.
PAMELA PELCHY was born in Auburn, New York on June 15, 1955. She graduated from Auburn Memorial Hospital School of Nursing (Diploma, 1976). She attended McNeese State University for her BSN (1986) and MSN (1996). She is also certified in Adult Critical Care Nursing by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Pam has worked in many areas of nursing including adult critical care, medical-surgical nursing and quality management. She is also a clinical instructor for the Medical University of South Carolina.
MARY N. SHAW was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 10, 1950. She graduated with honors from Emory University School of Nursing in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Mary is a Registered Nurse who has spent 28 years in critical care nursing in the Charleston area. Her background includes 32 years of experience in critical care nursing. She has held positions as Intensive Care Unit Head Nurse, Emergency Room Coordinator & Quality Assurance Coordinator.
LOIS J. IDLEMAN was bornin Weirton, West Virginia on May 25, 1955. She received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Bluefield State College (1982), a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from West Virginia University (1985), and a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Bellarmine College (1991) and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society of Nursing. With extensive public health and occupational health background she has experience in respiratory diseases for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and MUSC. She has worked for various companies as an occupational health nurse and as a worker’s compensation case manager. She also worked for the US Air Force as a certified Breast Health specialist.
